Context
Organized by the Computer Science Club at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), this event brought students, educators, and tech industry leaders together to explore the disconnect between academic learning and professional employment. Titled "Where is the GAP? Learning Meets Earning," the forum featured panel discussions, skill-building workshops, and live Q&As focused on preparing young graduates for Bangladesh’s evolving digital economy.
Speakers highlighted key challenges such as outdated curricula, lack of soft skills training, and limited internship opportunities—and called for more industry-academic collaborations. The event emphasized the urgency of aligning educational outcomes with real-world job market demands, making a strong case for prioritizing.
