Policy Residency Program
Since April 1 2023, we have brought together graduate student researchers from various academic disciplines at prestigious universities, including Columbia University, McGill University, the University of Chicago, the University of Maryland, the University of Toronto, and Western University to work on a pressing social problem.
Every year a new cohort of Policy Researchers join our Policy Residency, to collaborate and analyzing a pressing policy issue in the global south.
They author targeted recommendations with advice from subject-matter experts from diverse professional backgrounds, with an influential voice in public matters.
Past advisors have included professors and board members from top-universities, senior civil servants, non-profit and corporate leaders. Along with a U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom Award winner.
Our Policy Researchers and their Advisors work together to author, public and disseminate our annual policy brief. The program culminates with the launch of the publication at a Community Building panel event during the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
