Impact Social

NYC 2023

BacharLorai Global took over New York City on 12th August 2023 for the first Impact Social in New York, bringing together BL’s partners, supporters and patrons from all across the globe for an evening of networking.

Our first impact social was organized in parallel to the 28th session of The Youth Assembly, hosted August 11th to 13th by AFS Intercultural Programs in New York City.

This inaugural Impact Social brought together partners, supporters, patrons, and impact-minded individuals from across the globe for an evening centred on one shared question: How can we build stronger global partnerships to unlock Bangladesh’s potential?

The event brought together members of the Bangladeshi diaspora and allies from across sectors and cultures. Through conversations on collaboration, innovation, community empowerment, and social impact, the evening highlighted the power of connecting people, expertise, and resources across borders to create meaningful change.

With BacharLorai, Footsteps Bangladesh, and Bengalis of New York coming together, the event reflected the importance of multi-stakeholder partnerships in mobilising networks and resources for sustainable development—while showcasing Bangladesh’s potential on the global stage.
