IMF World Bank CSO Engagement

Twice a year—during the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring and Annual Meetings—BacharLorai Global (BLG) engages in critical macroeconomic and international development policy dialogue. Participating through the Civil Society Policy Forum (CSPF) and high-level bilateral roundtables, BLG serves as a vital bridge between community-level socio-economic data and international financial institutions (IFIs). Our delegation presents evidence-based research from our Policy Residency program, focusing on macro-fiscal reforms, social safety nets, youth employment, and gender-responsive economic policies. BLG researchers and leadership advocate for equitable resource allocation, debt sustainability, and climate adaptation financing tailored to the needs of South Asia and the broader Global Majority.
