Context
Bangladesh stands at the frontline of the climate crisis, with its youth emerging as one of the most active forces for change. LCOY Bangladesh 2025 served as a national hub to unify young leaders, policymakers, and development partners under the banner of climate justice and intergenerational equity.
Representing BacharLorai Global, co-founder Tahmid Khan, underscored the importance of bridging the diaspora and domestic youth movements. His remarks framed climate action as a transnational responsibility—where advocacy in global forums such as the UNGA must reflect the lived experiences of those in Bangladesh’s most climate-vulnerable regions.
The panel reaffirmed BacharLorai’s ongoing mission to connect youth, policy, and global dialogue, ensuring that the next generation of Bangladeshi leaders—both at home and abroad—remain central to building a just and resilient future.
